Panels
are light weight, so no heavy lifting
equipment is required |
The "Sipcrete" Thermocore
panels are attached to the slab
foundation on rebar or channel section
mesh strips that are cast into the
foundations or fixed with Hilti nails so
each panel is continuously fixed to the base/slab.
They are so simple to
assemble, only unskilled labour is
required |
To attach
panels to each other a special connection and aperture
closure system is used to ensure thermal bridging does not
occur at window and door openings.
To connect the mesh
simply joint and secure it with wire
ties or a pneumatic fastening tool. |
Water
penetration across the wall or roof is
impossible |
| |
Wiring conduit and
plumbing are clipped to the steel mesh.
The Thermocore Panels are easily cut to
prepare apertures for windows and
doors. |
Installation of electrics and plumbing
is easy simply clip conduits to mesh |
| |
The Thermocore walls/roofs are then spray coated both inside
and outside the building with 40-50 mm
of
The
"Sipcrete" Concrete Finish.
Coloured and textured finishes are
easily applied |
Concrete facing easily applied by hand, low cost, sprayer or
high out put equipment |
